Kemi Ilesanmi (she/her) is an arts strategist, institution builder, and diaspora weaver. She supports Black and Brown arts leaders, institutions, and networks in the United States and Africa as advisor, coach, and consultant. For over 25 years, she has served as nonprofit leader, foundation officer, museum curator, and now advisor, coach, researcher, and consultant. She has been executive director at The Laundromat Project, and held key roles at Creative Capital Foundation and the Walker Art Center. A graduate of Smith College and NYU, she also serves on several boards and advisory councils.
